Harvard Medical School (fifth) is built.

Architect: Ware & Van Brunt. It is located on the site of today’s Boston Public Library’s Johnson Building at 708 Boylston Street. The school moves to a new building in the Fenway in 1906.* The Boylston Street building is subsequently used by Boston University and later demolished.
